US Billboard announced the latest chart rankings for their Digital Song Sales chart for the week of October 16. According to the Digital Song Sales chart, BTS took the top spot with their recent collaboration song with British rock band Coldplay, "My Universe," for their second week in a row. The digital song sales score of "My Universe" this week was 42,600 points, which decreased by 54 percent from last week. Despite decreasing more than half in its points, "My Universe" still succeeded in maintaining the top spot on the charts.
With "My Universe" ranking No. 1, this marks BTS' 45th week ranking at the top on the Digital Song Sales chart, setting a new all-time high in the history of Billboard. This means that BTS is currently the artist with the most No. 1s on the chart, surpassing American pop star Taylor Swift's record of ranking No. 1 for 44 weeks. Meanwhile, "My Universe" also took a spot in other Billboard charts, such as ranking at No. 12 on Billboard's main singles chart, Hot 100 - a weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States. BTS and Coldplay debuted on the chart at No. 1 in the previous week, falling 11 spots this week. Despite that, it is still expected that BTS and Coldplay's collaboration song will remain in the Hot 100 charts in the coming weeks. In addition, "My Universe" also snagged the No. 1 spot on the Hot Alternative Songs chart and the Hot Rock and Alternative Songs chart. Also, the hit song ranked at No. 32 on the Streaming Songs chart for this week on Billboard. On the Global Excl. U.S chart, "My Universe" ranks at No. 3, while it takes No. 5 on the Global 200 chart.
